This logo design was for a new, and exclusive, podcast featured on LRM that was in associations with: "The Comic Source" podcast. In designing the logo, the host drew inspiration from early comic book pages being told within a nine panel narrative that would consist within a single page that since the podcast would discuss all things comics the title seemed appropriate. With a general concept in mind I decided to not only incorporate a number, with typography, into the design put to also include a grind incorporated into the number as well as a means to bring stronger emphasis towards a nine panel grid layout. Another element that was requested from me was to incorporate a red star into the design simply because the symbol itself represents "The Comic Source" podcast that such inclusion would further establish a sense of cross branding, and promotion, to both podcasts.
