This was a logo made for online web series a production company was developing to produce. Sadly, the series never got past the development phase. Aside from this unfortunate fate, the shows premise was going to be a modern day Ninja in an American office space. The series humor was going to be similar to NBC's The Office, in that it was going to be shot documentary style, only in this particular case there would be an actual ninja interacting amongst his western coworkers. When designing the logo I thought to incorporate two forms of typography into the logo’s design. For instance, since the show title involved a ninja, I thought it would be appropriate to incorporate into the logo traditional Japanese calligraphy brushwork for the word "ninja". Where as for the word "office "I used a recognizable American font, in this case I used a font called dynamoe, as a better means to convey an office like feel. Considering the premise of the show, it was important to combine into the logo both eastern and western typography as means to further convey the premise of the story. Special thanks to Toshi Tsutsumi for his assistance in providing traditional Japanese calligraphy!
