This piece was one of seven doctored images used for an opening sequence in episode five in [DARK/WEB] which involved Amy Rider, portrayed by Sibongile Mlambo, narrating her life story. Within this narrative sequence, we see various photos depicting Amy's life from childhood to adulthood. In the story, Amy is under arrest because she hacked a politician's website and was tracked down by the authorities. In this photo, it was essential to make the picture look as intense as possible given the fact that the character is under arrest. While mug shots these days tend to be in full color, for this particular mugshot we felt doing it in black and white would have more of an intense impact given the character is under arrest.  As I was working on this, I tried hard to provide the photo with an 'Alcatraz' feel in making the picture distressed and grungy.
